Terms of Service — RationalSDR

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RationalSDR ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RationalSDR is an AI-powered sales research tool that provides company intelligence, business trigger discovery, and outreach draft generation. The Service uses third-party APIs including OpenAI, Tavily, and Firecrawl to generate research results.

3. Accounts

You must create an account via our authentication provider (Clerk) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

4. Usage and Credits

The Service offers a limited number of free research queries per month. Additional usage requires purchasing credit packs. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. We reserve the right to modify pricing and credit allocations at any time.

5. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. All purchases are final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents credit delivery, contact us and we will investigate and resolve the issue.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service
Use automated systems to access the Service beyond normal usage
Resell or redistribute research results as a competing service

7. AI-Generated Content

Research results, outreach drafts, and other outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all information before acting on it. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated content.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any data you provide (e.g., persona information, uploaded documents). Research outputs generated for you may be used freely in your business activities. The Service itself, including its design, code, and branding, remains our intellectual property.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or decisions made based on AI-generated content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.
