1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up via Clerk (our authentication provider), we receive your email address. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk using email-based one-time passwords.

Persona Data

During onboarding, you provide information about your company, role, product, and target market. This data is stored in our database and used to personalize research results and outreach drafts.

Uploaded Documents

You may upload documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT) to enrich your seller persona. Document content is processed by AI to extract relevant information and is stored in our database as summarized text. Original files are not retained after processing.

Research History

We store the results of your research queries to provide history and review functionality.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment credentials. We store transaction records (purchase date, credit pack, amount, Stripe session ID) for accounting purposes.

Usage Data

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data including page views and feature usage. We also track research query counts for billing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party services as necessary to operate:

• Clerk — Authentication. Receives and stores your email address.
• OpenAI — AI processing. Receives persona data and research context to generate results. Subject to OpenAI's API data usage policies.
• Tavily — Web search. Receives company names for research queries.
• Firecrawl — Web scraping. Receives URLs discovered during research.
• Stripe — Payments. Receives billing information you provide at checkout.
• Turso — Database hosting. Stores all application data.
• Google Analytics — Usage analytics. Collects anonymous browsing data.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Research history is stored indefinitely for your reference. If you use the "Reset & Start Over" feature, your persona and associated data are deleted. To request complete account deletion, contact us.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authenticated API access, and scoped database queries (all data is isolated by user ID). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your research history

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (via Clerk) and analytics cookies (via Google Analytics). Authentication cookies are necessary for the Service to function. Analytics cookies help us understand usage patterns.
